Scope, pricing and what happens next, so you can decide whether working together makes sense.
We set a fixed monthly price after an onsite assessment, based on your team, systems, locations and support needs. Your proposal shows the monthly minimum, what is included and any separately itemized charges. Microsoft licenses are itemized separately. The introductory call has no cost or obligation.
Your monthly agreement includes routine remote and onsite support for the people and systems in your agreed scope, plus standard onboarding. We document responsibilities, coordinate with your providers and help manage staff access and everyday technology. Major changes and replacement equipment are separately scoped and quoted.
Routine onsite support for covered systems is included within the agreed service area. Our normal onsite range is approximately 45 minutes from Leicester. We confirm travel and coverage for more distant locations before accepting the work.
For managed support, we visit every prospect’s workplace before committing to a fixed monthly price. The onsite assessment is free for qualified prospects. We review the environment, explain the priorities and prepare a written proposal. If you proceed, standard onboarding is included and we agree on the date FBIT takes responsibility for support. Standalone projects have their own scope and price.
Regular support hours are Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Eastern, excluding listed holidays. For managed support clients, our initial-response targets during published support hours are within one business hour for a business-stopping issue and within one business day for a routine request. These are response and triage targets, not promised resolution times. Urgent help outside regular hours is best effort when available. Existing clients should use their agreed support channels; website enquiries are not an emergency channel.
Managed support begins with a 12-month agreement, billed monthly, then continues month to month. Give 60 days’ written notice to end service at the initial term’s end or during month-to-month service. Early termination during the initial term carries remaining-fee obligations set out in the agreement.
Substantial work, such as an email migration, network rebuild or equipment replacement, is scoped and quoted separately. You can choose a separate project payment or an agreed installment arrangement. Costs and payment terms are confirmed in writing before work begins.
We work with small teams across Western North Carolina, including offices, practices, trades, hospitality and nonprofits. Your systems, locations and support needs matter more than an industry label. The first conversation helps us decide whether we’re a good fit.
We spend about 30 minutes on your business, what is working and what you would like to change. You don’t need a list of equipment or a finished plan. We’ll agree on a useful next step together.
