Common questions

Before we talk.

A little context helps us both decide whether working together makes sense.

Is French Broad IT a fit for my business?

We work with small teams across Western North Carolina, including offices, practices, trades, hospitality and nonprofits. Your systems, locations and support needs matter more than an industry label. The first conversation helps us decide whether we’re a good fit.

What happens on the introductory call?

We spend about 20 minutes on your business, what is working and what you would like to change. You don’t need a list of equipment or a finished plan. We’ll agree on a useful next step together.

Is there a cost or commitment to talk?

No. The introductory call is a chance to get acquainted and understand what you need. If there’s a useful next step, we explain the scope and pricing before you decide whether to go ahead.

Can you work with our existing providers?

Yes. We can discuss a project, a planned transition or coordination with the providers you already use. Responsibilities and access are agreed before work begins.

Can we start with one project?

Yes. An office move, email problem, backup check or time-consuming office task can be a starting point. We can consider ongoing support separately.

Can we introduce a client or business contact?

Yes. We welcome connections with local advisers, accountants, agencies and technology providers. Visit our referral-partner page to start a conversation; get the person’s permission before sharing their details.
